Environmental Policy Statement

The company is committed to the protection of the Environment and will conduct its operations in an environmentally responsible manner.

The company recognises Environmental Management as a key corporate responsibility and the Directors and Senior Managers are committed to ensuring that at all levels within the organisation, its activities are managed to reduce their environmental impact as far as is reasonably practicable. The company is committed to continual improvement of its environmental performance, which includes the reduction, and prevention of pollution.

Ancillary Components Limited will work closely with the appropriate regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all applicable existing legal and other requirements that apply to the environmental aspects of the company and to assist in the development and implementation of future improvements. To achieve this, the company provide a fully documented Environmental Management System that is approved by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance to the Environmental Management System Standard ISO14001:2004 and provides the framework for the regular setting, reviewing and monitoring its environmental objectives and targets.

All plant and equipment will be operated and maintained to the highest possible standards by the implementation of good maintenance and operating procedures, and awareness of improved technologies and practices.

The company will communicate, train and motivate all personnel whose work may create a significant impact on the environment to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible manner. Procedures are in place to identify the potential for accident and emergency situations and to prevent or minimise any associated environmental damage.
